Didier Mene (58)

Didier Mene is a rare breed amongst top referees - he has never played the sport. At university, it was basketball that kept him busy. He first became an international rugby referee in 1994 - the first of 12 games he refereed at that level. He went on to become head of the French rugby referees association.
